Alaina Berger
Alaina is a graduate from Centennial College with an Advanced Diploma of Massage Therapy with honours, and prior to this, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier in 2018.
Alaina believes in combining remedial exercise, hydrotherapy and manual therapy to treat various injuries and conditions such as headaches, bronchitis, thoracic outlet syndrome, sprains & strains of various ligaments and muscles, etc. She views treatment as a partnership where both client and therapist work together to achieve the desired treatment goals.
Alaina grew up playing competitive soccer and has maintained a relationship with sports through her experience working on site with the Laurier Varsity Men’s Rugby team and the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) through the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA). Working to assess and treat players for optimal performance on the field utilizing techniques such as athletic taping, rhythmic mobilization, passive stretching, trigger point therapy and PNF. Alaina is also certified in cupping therapy, using cups to increase vasodilation in the vasculature, creating negative space within structures to relieve tension and reduce adhesions.

Janelle Fung
Janelle is an RMT who recently graduated from Sutherland - Chan in 2021. Previously, she was an NCAA Division I and II Tennis Player and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Sports Performance. She completed her Masters at University of Toronto in Professional Kinesiology in 2019. Despite being relatively new to the profession, Janelle has already demonstrated a natural talent and strong passion for helping others.
Having a solid educational and athletic background, Janelle uses numerous techniques to address muscular tension, promote relaxation, and enhance overall well-being. Janelle also attends courses and seminars to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and research in the industry to provide quality care for clients.
Janelle’s empathy and excellent communication skills have allowed her to build strong connections with clients. By actively listening to each individual’s unique needs and concerns, Janelle tailors personalized treatment plans that cater to specific issues and goals.
Outside of their professional life, Janelle maintains an active lifestyle, appreciating the important of self-care and physical well-being. This commitment to personal health enables them to connect with clients on a deeper level, understanding the significance of balance in one’s life. Sierra Norville
Sierra obtained a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Neuroscience at Carleton University. She is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Her holistic assessment and treatment approach focuses on manual therapy, soft tissue work, exercise prescription, and patient education and has completed her courses in Acupuncture and Dry Needling. She has begun the process of completing her manual therapy levels through the Orthopaedic Division.
Sierra also has a special interest in Pelvic Health & has completed her Pelvic Level 1, 2 & 3, and various special population courses. She predominantly works with the pregnancy population and is also a doula. Sierra is also experienced in pessary fittings for prolapse.
She believes in empowering her clients and giving them the tools necessary to heal themselves and restore mobility and function. Educating her patients is an important aspect of her care. Sierra believes that her clients should understand their injury, the treatment they are receiving and how they play an active role in their recovery.

Omar Rasheed Registered Physiotherapist
Omar graduated from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2016 with a MSc in Physiotherapy while also playing on the University Men’s basketball team. Originally from Toronto, Ontario, he obtained his Bachelors in Kinesiology degree from York University in 2014.
Omar has a passion for helping people and aims to get them back to their best physical and mental state. He believes in a holistic approach to health and rehabilitation through the means of exercise, education and manual therapy. Omar has done courses in acupuncture, dry needling and spinal manipulation with plans to pursue further education in manual therapy, concussion rehab and blood flow restriction training. He has a clinical interest in ACL prehab/rehab. He believes that the recovery process is a unique one - not just physically, but mentally as well. He believes that patients returning from ACL tears need a patient-centred rehabilitation program catered to each individual specifically.
In his free time, he loves to be around the game of basketball. He currently coaches in his free time, plays in men’s leagues, and loves to work with athletes. He also plays a variety of different sports including volleyball and soccer.

Malikah Roberts Physiotherapy Resident
Malikah completed her Masters in Physical Therapy at Western University and received her Bachelors in Kinesiology from York University, giving her an extensive knowledge of the human body and human movement. Throughout her placements in Physical Therapy school, Malikah treated diverse populations including those with chronic mental health conditions, athletic injuries, traumatic musculoskeletal and cardiovascular injuries, strokes, and spinal cord injuries.
Growing up playing sports competitively and recreationally, Malikah found a passion for being active and exercising. She has always had an interest in the human body and following a sports injury at a young age, Malikah attended Physiotherapy at Athlete’s Care and her love for the profession began.
Malikah strives to provide holistic care through addressing not only the physical aspects of pain but understanding the sociological, psychological, spiritual and emotional contributions as well. Through this approach, she is able to provide compassionate and empathetic care that takes into account the unique differences across individuals. She also strives to create a safe space for her clients to ensure they can speak freely and be their authentic selves.
Malikah employs a combination of patient education, soft tissue mobilization, manual therapy and exercise prescription in her care. She plans on continuing to strive for excellence in this profession by staying up to date on current research and through continuing education courses.
