Massage Therapy

Nicole obtained a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2009. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University.

As a physiotherapist, Nicole’s passion towards injury prevention and healing come from her strong athletic background which included competing as a member of both York University and the University of Toronto’s varsity track and field teams. Nicole’s treatment approach incorporates her background in exercise and sport with her knowledge of physiotherapy to help her clients regain their full potential. She believes in empowering her clients and giving them the tools necessary to heal themselves and restore mobility and function. Educating her patients is an important aspect of her care. Nicole believes that her clients should understand their injury, the treatment they are receiving and how they play an active role in their recovery. Nicole utilizes manual therapy, acupuncture, electrotherapy, exercise prescription and functional assessment to build a comprehensive treatment plan based on her clients goals. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys playing the piano and keeping active with running, playing flag football and weight training.

Shamit obtained his Master of Physical Therapy from Western University. His most memorable clinical experience was at Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Centre, where he developed a strong interest in working with athletes and treating knee pathologies, particularly ACL rehabilitation. During his time at Western, Shamit also worked as a physiotherapy extern at University Hospital, which primarily involved assisting patients with their mobility, strength, and ambulation after their knee or hip replacements.

Prior to physiotherapy school, Shamit earned a double major in Human Biology and Psychology at the University of Toronto. During this time, a multitude of experiences have helped shape him as a clinician, most notably working as a personal trainer. Shamit has a passion for exercise and is a strong advocate for an active and healthy lifestyle. His treatment approach involves a combination of a structured exercise program, manual therapy, and most importantly, patient education. Shamit believes fostering a supportive and meaningful relationship with his patients in their rehabilitation journey will help create more favourable outcomes. His goal is to collaborate with his patients and empower them to reach their goals so they can do the things they love.

Dr. Lucrecia Hardowar obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2021. Prior to this, she obtained both her Bachelor of Science degrees in Kinesiology and Health Science as well as Psychology from York University. She is registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.

Dr. Lucrecia has an evidence based assessment and treatment approach which focuses on manual therapy (manipulations and mobilizations), soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription, patient education and modality use. Dr. Lucrecia also provides activator adjustments.

Being a former athlete, Dr. Lucrecia has a special interest in the athletic population as well as the everyday athlete. She has obtained her contemporary medical acupuncture and advanced medical acupuncture for pelvic floor pain and dysfunction certifications from McMaster University. She has also completed courses in assessment and management of knee pain.

She believes in empowering her patients and giving them the tools necessary to heal themselves and to restore mobility and function. Education is an important part of her treatment plan as Lucrecia believes her patients should understand their condition, the treatment they are receiving, and their role in an active recovery.

Chris graduated from the UofT’s Physical therapy program. He also holds a Kinesiology Bachelor’s degree from York University.

Chris was intrigued with the biomechanics of the human body early in his university career and is dedicated to approaching care by focusing beyond one’s primary complaint. He has worked in various orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and neurological injury clinics across the GTA, where he gained the experience to deliver his treatment via education, manual therapy, and exercise prescription. His main goal is to both restore optimal function and prevent re-injury. He also intends to develop meaningful relationships with his clients to provide a treatment plan that is personalized and empowering. Chris can speak both English and Arabic.

In his spare time, you can find Chris exploring new hiking trails, reading books or playing one of many sports including soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis and squash.

Harrison is a Registered Massage Therapist who has a passion in helping patients to move pain-free and to help them get back to their favourite activities and hobbies.

He is a graduate from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy who has experience in working with many patients from the general population, but also other environments as well such as sporting events, hospitals, long-term care homes and community centres.

Harrison has knowledge in different massage therapy techniques such as general swedish massage, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, active and passive stretching techniques, lymphatic drainage, joint mobilizations for pain relief and increasing range of motion, and various other techniques to help with decreasing trigger points and muscle soreness.

Harrison also has experience in Sports Massage and Thai massage where he incorporates techniques from them into his treatments.

Outside of the clinic, Harrison enjoys being physically active by participating in strength training and weightlifting at the gym. He enjoys racket sports, such as tennis and badminton, and aquatic sports such as swimming.

Harrison’s other hobbies include listening to music and playing different instruments such as the piano, alto saxophone, electric and acoustic guitars. He also enjoys cooking and watching TV shows and movies.

Sierra obtained a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Neuroscience at Carleton University. She is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Her holistic assessment and treatment approach focuses on manual therapy, soft tissue work, exercise prescription, and patient education and has completed her courses in Acupuncture and Dry Needling. She has begun the process of completing her manual therapy levels through the Orthopaedic Division.

Sierra also has a special interest in Pelvic Health & has completed her Pelvic Level 1, 2 & 3, and various special population courses. She predominantly works with the pregnancy population and is also a doula. Sierra is also experienced in pessary fittings for prolapse.

She believes in empowering her clients and giving them the tools necessary to heal themselves and restore mobility and function. Educating her patients is an important aspect of her care. Sierra believes that her clients should understand their injury, the treatment they are receiving and how they play an active role in their recovery.

Bruce brings over 15 years of experience training and supporting clients throughout their fitness journeys. As a RMT he seeks to optimize the body, minimize pain, and improve recovery time to achieve peak performance. Bruce specializes in deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, relaxation and general Swedish massage. He is committed to working with his clients to provide an individualized treatment plan that yields long-term results, and believes in the philosophy of training smart not hard.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University, and has dedicated over a decade to Martial Arts as an accomplished Muay Thai Kickboxing Instructor who has supported students in achieving provincial and international championship titles. Kriyanshi Sheth is a Registered Massage Therapist and in a good standing with the college of massage therapy of Ontario. She is passionate about working with patients towards their goals to improve their daily living. She is a strong believer in the effectiveness of massage in treating chronic muscle pain. She believes in getting to the root of the pain instead of just working on the superficial layer.

Kriyanshi has experience treating individuals with all sorts of headaches, TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunction, postural dysfunction, carpal tunnel, planter fasciitis, post-natal women, athletes and individual during their Chemotherapy and dialysis treatment. She has blended experience with both fitness and rehabilitation. Forever a student, Kriyanshi is constantly updating her skills and seeking methods to provide the best care possible. Rostam Torki started his physiotherapy journey with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology & Health Science at York University. He then graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Throughout his studies, Rostam was involved in many extra-curriculars, including tutoring and workshops.

Rostam first and foremost believes in building strong relationships and providing high quality education based on the best available research. Rostam believes in holistic health, as physical, emotional, and social health all work in tandem. He also has an interest in orthopaedics, pain science and chronic pain, concussion, and acupuncture.
