Matthieu, a massage therapist from Kikkawa College, moved from Montréal to Toronto in 2008 to study massage therapy. In parallel, he undertook studies in the Active Release Therapy program and completed the Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity and Spine modules.

Once he had his Registered Massage Therapy license in hand, he went to McMaster University to complete the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program as well as the Advanced Neurofunctional Sports Performance Program. Kira is a Registered Massage Therapist with the CMTO who graduated from Mohawk College. Previously she completed her Bachelors of Physical Education at Brock University.

Kira consistently strives to provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone in her treatment area. She is passionate about assessing and working with patients experiencing any musculoskeletal injuries. Kira is dedicated to finding the root cause of the patient’s chief complaint(s) and not just treating the patient’s symptoms.

While working with athletes at Brock University as a student trainer with different varsity and community teams, Kira found her passion helping athletes return to their sport. She was given the opportunity to treat acute and chronic injuries throughout the seasons. She not only has worked with athletes, but also has experience working with a variety of patients from around the world when she lived in the Rocky Mountains.

Kira’s techniques in her practice include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, stretching, PNF, joint mobilization, cupping and soft tissue release. Kira has also taken an additional prenatal massage course.

Expect to receive stretching/exercise prescription while working with Kira as she strongly believes in combining exercise therapy and manual therapy to achieve the best outcomes. Victoria graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University with the Provost Honours award. She is passionate about orthopaedic physical therapy and enjoys collaborating with patients to reach their goals through the use of education, individualized graded exercise programs, and manual therapy. She has experience in the rehabilitation of sports and acute injuries, neck and low back injuries, post-surgical recovery, overuse injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological conditions among other things. Sarah Higgins is a Registered Chiropodist (foot specialist) and Pedorthist. Sarah attained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Hons) at York University and finished first in her class in Chiropody at the Michener Institute. Sarah is also a Registered Pedorthist with a deep understanding of orthotic and footwear fabrication. She is also trained in Manual Foot Therapy Technique which decreases joint stiffness restoring gait function and balance.

Sarah places special focus on biomechanical foot pathologies such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, and posterior tibial tendon dysfunction. She develops comprehensive evidence-based management solutions for each patient. In addition to private practice, Sarah works in partnership with UHN, Women’s College Hospital.

Sarah enjoys educating and mentoring future practitioners as a Clinical Educator and was recently invited to lecture at Western University on the topic of “Foot Structures and Classifications”. Gita graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to her physiotherapy studies, she earned an Honours Degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Toronto. Subsequently she completed an Honours degree in Kinesiology at York University while concurrently attaining her certification as an Athletic Therapist. During her training as an athletic therapist, she worked extensively with the varsity athletes at York University in the clinical and field setting. She held the positions of assistant therapist for the men’s varsity rugby team and head therapist for the women’s varsity hockey team. After finishing her studies at the University of Toronto with a degree in Physical Health and Education (BPHE), Marguerite travelled to Ireland where she completed 2 years of college education in Massage and Holistic studies. These diplomas include Sports Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, and Reiki which led to working as a Massage Therapist in Ireland. Following this experience, Marguerite returned to Toronto and is a registered Massage Therapist with The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Practicing full-time since 2013 Marguerite enjoys incorporating her skill set into each treatment, as needed. Most recently, she completed a 120 hour course in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) through Dr. Vodder School International and is a certified Combined Decongestive Therapist (CDT). Through both MLD and CDT techniques she can treat people who present with Lymphedema. In addition, MLD is helpful for a variety of conditions - sinusitis, arthritis, repetitive strain injury, injury healing and edema (swelling) reduction and stress reduction. Sabrina received her Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in French. During this period, she worked as an athletic therapist for the Women’s Varsity Basketball 2000-2001 team, where she provided care on and off the field. Here, she collaborated with the Fowler Kennedy sports medicine team regarding concussion management. Sabrina covered other sporting events including soccer, ultimate frisbee and the Toronto City Marathon. In the Spring of 2009, she covered the World Ball Hockey Championship in the Czech Republic, as the physiotherapist for Team India. She has recently provided physiotherapy coverage for the Toronto FC Academy.

Sabrina is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Orthopaedic and Sports divisions. She completed her Acupuncture training through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI) followed by the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University. Lokman received his undergraduate degree in Physical Education at the University of Toronto. He followed his passion of understanding the human body and rehabilitation by completing his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University.

Since becoming a registered physiotherapist in 2014, Lokman has worked in various out-patient clinics, with a focus in treating complex musculoskeletal dysfunctions. He is passionate about gaining insight into the human body and how dysfunction leads to pain.

Lokman has continued to expand his knowledge and manual skills by pursuing further education. Henry completed all of his education at Western University including a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a Masters of Physical Therapy. Most recently he completed his Advanced Health Care Practice degree - a Masters of Clinical Science in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, where he also contributed to a research project on ACL reconstruction rehab.
