The healthcare team at Athlete’s Care provide quality, patient-centered treatments. We require an Initial Assessment if this is your first time booking with us, if you would like to get a a new injury assessed and treated, or if you have not had an appointment within the past 6+ months.

What to bring to your appointment:

  • Bring shorts if the issue is your knees, back or legs.
  • Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing as specific areas of the body are subject for evaluation and treatment.
  • Bring your referral or doctor’s note, if you have one.
  • If you plan on having insurance cover your treatments, bring your insurance information and we can look into whether direct billing for Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy or Chiropractic care is an option with your insurance provider.
  • Bring a valid OHIP card for appointments with a Sports Medicine Physician, Physiatrist or Orthopaedic Surgeon

Naman’s interest in physiotherapy began at a young age through his love for sports like soccer and cricket, where he was inspired by how physiotherapists help athletes recover and return to performance.

He completed his Master of Physiotherapy in 2022 in India and went on to work as a Head Physiotherapist and Clinical Manager. Naman brings over four years of international experience along with 8 months of Canadian experience as a Physiotherapy Resident, working with a wide range of musculoskeletal and post-surgical conditions.

His treatment approach combines manual therapy, dry needling, and exercise-based rehabilitation to deliver effective, long-term results. He focuses on addressing the root cause of pain while helping patients regain confidence in movement.

Outside the clinic, Naman enjoys staying active, exploring new approaches to health and fitness, and continuing to grow professionally.

Steve has had a passion for sports of all kinds for most of his life being an active kid growing up in the Ottawa Valley. This life of constant activity and sports, lead to some unfortunate injuries, but also to Southern Ontario where he completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo as well as his Athletic Therapy degree at Sheridan College.

He has treated clients and athletes from all walks of life and different sports from the recreational to professional levels. He has previously been an Athletic Therapist with the St. Michael’s Buzzer Jr. A hockey club, Oakville Buzz Jr. B and Jr. C lacrosse teams, Burlington Chiefs Jr. A lacrosse teams, as well as a numerous rugby and football clubs in the GTA. He has worked with varsity athletes at Waterloo and at Sheridan College where he was the Varsity Athletic Therapist for several years.

Steve also became a Registered Massage therapist in 2014 and continued to further his continuing education in areas in athletic movement and concussion assessment and rehabilitation. He believes in active therapy and movement to be the key to rehabilitation and healthy living and creates program to promote movement using exercise as well as soft tissue manipulation and mobilization techniques and keen observations of bodily biomechanics.

Outside of work you’ll usually find him trying to stay active, running, hiking, or being active with his family. He loves getting on the ice for hockey or skating, or talking about sports of any kind, especially football and his fantasy football teams.

Elliott Jabsi has been practicing physiotherapy since 2016. He completed his Bachelor’s and Doctorate of Physiotherapy at Saint Joseph University of Beirut and holds a Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) through Saint Joseph University of Beirut and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

He moved to Canada in 2022 and became a fully registered physiotherapist in December 2023. Elliott has a strong interest in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, having completed specialized training in both areas. He also incorporates medical acupuncture and functional dry needling into his practice to support recovery and improve movement.

Elliott treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and has experience working with handball and basketball teams. He is committed to ongoing education and delivering individualized, evidence-based care to help patients return to optimal function.

Kayla comes from Timmins, a small town in Northern Ontario. She has been working as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2010 ranging in several specialties such as, prenatal, sports, headache/migraine treatments, trigger points and MVAs.

Her primary focus however is on deep tissue therapy. She has a wide range of clinical experience working within Chiropractic and Physiotherapist clinics, mixed martial arts academy, yoga studio, and in the mining industry.

Kayla has recently completed her holistic nutrition certification specializing in gut health, where she focuses on Digestive Issues, Immune Support, Dietary Needs, Supplementary Requirements and Overall Wellness.

Andrea graduated from McMaster University in Physical Education and Health then went on to graduate from the University Of Toronto in Physical Therapy. Throughout her career Andrea has focused on orthopaedics and sports, successfully completing her Part A’s and Level 5 in Manual Therapy in the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA.

She has continued to expand her knowledge and skills with other soft tissue and manual courses including McKenzie (A,B), Movement System Impairment Syndromes by Shirley Sahrmann, Acupuncture (Part A,B), Mulligan Concepts, Soft Tissue Release for a few. She is also embarking on Craniosacral Therapy having completed one course in Cranial Osteopathy by Fred Mitchell. Andrea has a strong interest in the diagnosis and treatment of the fascial system dysfunction having taken extensive courses in Myofascial Release in Arizona through John. F. Barnes. She plans further courses in this program focussing on Woman’s Issues.

As an avid athlete herself, she was on the varsity gymnastics team (McMaster) then upon graduating focused on Medical Representation with various teams and events (Gymnastic Club, Minor Hockey, Premier Soccer, Skate Canada, Summer Games).
