Derick has been a Registered Massage Therapist since October of 2018 after graduating from Humber College in June. Derick uses a selection of deep tissue techniques to release tension and improve the quality of life of the clients he works with. Derick also uses decompression cupping techniques to release tension and improve circulation across the body. Derick believes in incorporating exercises and educating clients as to how they can reduce pain that may be felt from muscle tension.

Krzysztof (Kris) is an RMT with extensive experience since 1986. He earned his BAS in Kinesiology and Physical Education in Poland. He subsequently migrated to Canada, where he became a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. After practising for several years, Kris continued his studies completing a Certification in Reflexology. He continues to enhance his skills specializing in Soft Tissue Release, Deep Tissue, and Lymphatic Drainage, specifically designed to enhance the removal of swelling from the arms and legs. Gurbir is a Registered Massage Therapist graduated from Centennial College and is in good standing with the CMTO.

Throughout her education, she has learnt assessment skills which allow her to plan treatments in effective manner. She believes in long term effects of the treatment and her great communication skills enable that process.

She is currently trained and well versed with Deep Tissue Techniques, Trigger point therapy, Neuromuscular, Hydrotherapy, Prenatal and Swedish Massage Techniques.

Michaela graduated as a Registered Massage Therapist from Humber College in 2018. Michaela’s goal is to provide patient centered care, which means being able to provide patients with a treatment plan that will help them reach their goals for improved wellness. She is enthusiastic, positive and an experienced Massage Therapist. She is able to adapt to her patient needs whilst working collaboratively with her physiotherapy and chiropractic colleagues.

Michaela provides deep tissue, relaxation and therapeutic techniques for patients with acute and chronic injuries. Dr. Nguyen’s philosophy on chiropractic care can be attributed to his major passion for athletics, nutrition, and achieving optimal performance. Dr. Nguyen obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Prior to attending CMCC, he completed an Honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University.

Dr. Nguyen is also a certified acupuncture provider through the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University, and an Active Release Techniques® (ART®) provider. Dr. Nguyen emphasizes an evidence-based approach to treatment plans that alleviate pain, improve overall function, and enhance performance in athletics and daily activities.

Reema graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011. She has been working as a Physiotherapist in Toronto since 2014. Prior to this, she worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant in Melbourne, Australia. Reema also has an experience working as a physiotherapist in her home country. She has extensive experience treating all kinds of patients including sports injuries, chronic pain patients, acute and chronic musculoskeletal patients, traumatic paraplegia patients and stroke/brain injury patients.

Reema is very passionate about physiotherapy and takes continuing education courses to further advance her knowledge and manual skills. She is currently pursuing certifications of acupuncture and dry needling; and also McKenzie methods of treatment for spine. She will also be starting Manual therapy Level courses in near future. Ajay completed his physiotherapy education in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Bsc. PT). He completed clinical internships in England, Germany, and Amsterdam and spent time as a student physiotherapist with amateur soccer and rugby teams. His passion for physiotherapy stems from having many injuries as an athlete when he was younger. He spent days and months rehabbing his own injuries, and now being in a position to help and guide patients to achieve a goal or get them back to doing an activity that they have been restricted from is something he takes great pride and enthusiasm in.

Ajay believes in a hands-on, active, and individualized approach to care. Physiotherapy is more than just what is done in the clinic, and he believes encouraging and educating patients will give them the tools and skills they need outside the clinic to live an active, healthy, and injury-free life.

He plans to pursue a diploma in sports physiotherapy, Manual therapy, acupuncture, and concussion management in the coming years to further improve his skills as a practitioner.

Harry, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, embarked on his journey in physiotherapy after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Manitoba. He then pursued his passion for physical wellness in Ontario, completing his Master of Physical Therapy degree at Western University.

Harry emphasizes a personalized approach, recognizing the unique needs of each patient. His aim is to help individuals regain their abilities and return to the activities they enjoy. This involves patient education, targeted exercises, and hands-on therapy to enhance function and overall well-being.

Harry’s clinical experiences have exposed him to a diverse range of patients, but his true passion lies in assisting athletes in their return to sports. He has worked with individuals recovering from various sports-related injuries, including those in basketball, soccer, tennis, and hockey. Harry understands the stress and challenges of injury recovery, prioritizing patient education and empowerment.

With a personal background in cross country, track and field, and rugby, Harry has an earnest understanding of the recovery process. This experience has inspired his commitment to empowering others to make successful comebacks and learn from their journey.

Jaskiran is a caring and compassionate Physiotherapist who started her career with a Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University (2005-2009). She then pursued her interest in health care further with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Western Ontario (2009-2011).

She continued her education further, by passing the Level 1 Manual Therapy Exam for the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy and has pursued and completed further manual therapy courses and exams in this program, including the Level 2 for Upper and Lower Quadrant. In addition, Jaskiran has taken the “Mulligan Concept for the Upper Quadrant” course for the Mobilization with Movement (MWM) Manual therapy techniques for the neck and upper extremities.

Jaskiran has completed the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada’s AA1 Course: Foundations of Anatomical Acupuncture and AA2: Clinical Applications in Anatomical Acupuncture in 2013. She uses Acupuncture to help naturally reduce pain and improve function.

Jaskiran also has an interest in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. She has completed all four courses involved in this program, which includes: Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy of the Lumbar Spine, Cervical Spine, Advanced Lumbar Spine & Upper Extremities, and Advanced Cervical & Thoracic Spine & Lower Extremities. She successfully completed the Credentialing Exam, and is Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (McKenzie Method).

Lisa Wood has been a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) since 2015, and has since then graduated from Mohawk College’s Massage Therapy Program. She became a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) under the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario (CMTO). Lisa has also completed Foundations in Functional Acupuncture under the Advanced Therapeutic Programs.
