Gagandeep Banait is a Graduate from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy and registered with the College of Massage therapy Of Ontario since 2018. She also holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree from India.

Gagandeep worked in different clinical settings as a physiotherapists’ assistant (PTA) since 2011. She had the privilege to work with different multidisciplinary clinics in the GTA. During this time as a PTA she was also able to learn a lot about the Canadian health system.

Gagandeep has a passion for health care and enjoys helping people with her knowledge and skills. Gagandeep’s clients have included a diverse group of people, both females and males. Gagandeep has experience in treating acute and chronic injuries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, work place injuries, pre-natal and post-natal women. Gagandeep designs her massage therapy treatments according to the individual needs after doing a thorough assessment. Gagandeep always educates her clients about their condition and involves them in working towards the same desired goals.

Luca is a registered massage therapist committed to providing the highest level of care to his patients. His evidence informed treatments aim to reduce pain, optimize function, prevent injury, and improve overall health and quality of life. Luca believes in a patient centred treatment approach, where he identifies your goals and creates a unique treatment plan to help you obtain them.

Luca’s treatments include a variety of techniques such as; Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, stretching, joint mobilizations, postural and myofascial alignment, muscle energy, Kinesiology Taping, cupping, and exercise prescription.

Luca has always been passionate about biology, physiology, and exercise. He completed his undergraduate degree at York University, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Kinesiology. Luca continued his education in health and science by attending Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, where he treated patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions.

In his free time, Luca enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, tennis, and doing hot yoga.

Sandro is a graduate of the Master of Physical Therapy program from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at York University, receiving specialized honours in Kinesiology and Health Science.

Sandro empowers his patients by taking an active approach to physical rehabilitation, placing emphasis on therapeutic exercise and education, in addition to using manual therapy techniques. Having completed courses in exercise prescription as well as his level I Manual Therapy diploma, Sandro also plans to take additional continuing education courses to further develop his skill set.

Michael began his studies graduating with a Specialized Honours Degree in Kinesiology & Health Science from York University in Toronto, Canada. He then went on to complete an Education Degree from York University focusing on Health and Sciences. With a strong passion to learn and further his skills, Michael went on to continue his studies in New York, completing a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy with a clinical emphasis in orthopaedic medicine and manual therapy.

Michael is registered to practice Physiotherapy in both Canada and the United States and has worked with various populations in both countries. Michael continued his Physiotherapy education by completing a post graduate certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Michael also completed his Level 1 Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Recently, he has completed the Level One course for golf swing analysis through the Titleist Performance Institute. Michael is extremely passionate in his commitment to help individuals of all levels with injury recovery and performance enhancement.

Michael utilizes a functional approach to his assessments and treatments to determine and understand the neuro-anatomical cause of a client’s symptoms/condition. Siman is dedicated to helping people become their best self physically and mentally. She believes in using an evidence-based, active, and holistic approach to therapy. She incorporates education, manual therapy, and personalised exercise programs to work together with her clients so they can successfully achieve their goals. Siman has a special interest in neurological conditions as well as dizziness and balance issues. He graduated from York University in 2016 with his Honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences while concurrently completing the Athletic Therapy (AT) Certificate program. After graduating from York, he continued his education by attending and graduating from the Ontario College of Health and Technology, becoming a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in 2017. In 2018 he began his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). He graduated from CMCC in 2022. In addition to his multiple disciplines, Matt has also taken courses to expand his skillset in order to provide Western Medical Acupuncture to his patients.

From on-field athletic medical coverage, to multidiscplinary sports medicine facilities, to motor vehicle accident clinics he has seen and managed all kinds of athletic and non-athletic injuries and conditions. Sean completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. He brings a wealth of educational and life experience to his role as a physiotherapist. He previously completed a Bachelor of History and Spanish at Queen’s University, followed by a Master of Arts and 4 years of a PhD in Social and Political Thought at York University. During this time, he was the recipient of several major research awards and published in peer-review journals. Sean brings this love of learning and attention to detail to his role as a physiotherapist.

Furthermore, Sean’s 15+ year background in martial arts, yoga, and meditation inform his approach to physiotherapy practice. He believes that relaxation, breathing, and movement can powerfully combine to support recovery and rehabilitation. Sean utilizes a combination of manual therapy, active rehabilitation through exercise, and education to support his clients in their recovery and healing journeys. He has a special interest in helping clients to overcome chronic pain. He is currently completing continuing education courses in both manual therapy and chronic pain to enhance his practice.

Brenda is the Clinic Director at Athlete’s Care Vaughan and has been providing physiotherapy care in the Maple/Vaughan community for more than 20 years. Brenda graduated from McMaster University in 1993 with her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy. Prior to this she completed a 4 year Bachelor of Physical Education also at McMaster.

Brenda has extensive experience in the treatment of acute and chronic muscle and joint injuries, as well as post operative patients (i.e. Rotator Cuff repairs, ACL reconstructions, post fracture rehab). She has completed numerous post-graduate courses that include; Parts A through E in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (back and neck); ; Acupuncture Levels I and II through Acupuncture Canada, Manual Therapy courses and courses offered by the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute.

Over her 25 year career, Brenda has been involved in the treatment of many elite level athletes. She has directly worked with OHL, PJHL, OMHA and GTHL hockey players and teams (Aurora Tigers JR A, Toronto Young Nationals, Markham Waxers and Thornhill Rattlers). With a background in dance, Brenda has been involved in the treatment of acute and chronic injuries of competitive and recreational dancers in the community of Vaughan.

Brenda acts as a mentor for new Physiotherapy graduates. She is a supervisor for students involved in the York Region Secondary School Co-Operative Education Programs and in the past for GTA based Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma program students.

Sean is a Registered Massage Therapist and a graduate from Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology. He is currently registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists of Ontario (RMTAO). After he graduated, he wanted to explore aspects of a mobile practice and he began to provide safe and effective treatments for clientele who may not have time or are not able to travel to a clinic.

Sean became a Massage Therapist because he enjoys helping people and seeing positive changes in the health of his clients.

He has experience treating a variety of conditions and ailments including thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, pre/post-natal, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis).

Cristina Piticco (MSc. PT., BSc., & CSEP-CEP) Registered Physiotherapist Manual Therapy Medical Acupuncture Provider Certified Sport Physiotherapist

Cristina obtained her Master’s of Physiotherapy Degree from McGill University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from York University. She believes the key to a successful and sustainable recovery stems from a patient-centered care model and strives to inspire all her patients to become more active, healthy, and happy.

Cristina has a special interest in treating patients of performing arts background, with previous experience treating circus performers on touring shows of Montreal’s Top 3 Circus Companies; Cirque Du Soliel, The 7 Fingers, and Cirque Eloize. Furthermore, she has both international and national experience treating athletes from various sports, including rugby, jujitsu, judo, table tennis, soccer and gymnastics to name a few. Currently, Cristina is a Certified Sport Physiotherapist and has been a Team Therapist for Canada’s National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team since 2018.
