To book an appointment with a Sports Medicine Physician, Physiatrist or Orthopaedic Surgeon, please visit athletescare and call to book. For appointments covered by WSIB or MVA, please call the clinic directly to book the appointment.

The healthcare team at Athlete’s Care provide quality, patient-centered treatments. We require an Initial Assessment if this is your first time booking with us, if you would like to get a a new injury assessed and treated, or if you have not had an appointment within the past 6+ months.

What to bring to your appointment:

  • Bring shorts if the issue is your knees, back or legs.
  • Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing as specific areas of the body are subject for evaluation and treatment.
  • Bring your referral or doctor’s note, if you have one.
  • If you plan on having insurance cover your treatments, bring your insurance information and we can look into whether direct billing for Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy or Chiropractic care is an option with your insurance provider.
  • Bring a valid OHIP card for appointments with a Sports Medicine Physician, Physiatrist or Orthopaedic Surgeon

We require 24 hours notice prior to cancelling or rescheduling your appointment.

Aastha is a Registered Physiotherapist and Certified Ergonomic Assessor who earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2015. She is one of our Senior Associate therapists and brings extensive advanced training in acupuncture, concussion management, and manual therapy. She is also a certified provider of our Runner’s Program.

Aastha has worked across diverse clinical settings, including hospital-based physiotherapy, outpatient orthopedics, surgical units, general medicine, and oncology. This broad experience allows her to approach treatment with a comprehensive and well-rounded perspective. She has supported individuals with complex musculoskeletal conditions, concussions, athletic injuries, and those recovering from fractures and surgeries.

Her practice is grounded in a patient-centered, biopsychosocial approach. She collaborates closely with each patient to deliver individualized, goal-oriented care. Treatment plans may include education, manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, exercise prescription, acupuncture, and lifestyle modification. A strong advocate for lifelong learning, Aastha continually integrates current evidence-based research with a holistic philosophy to evolve her clinical practice. She is passionate about her work and takes pride in building meaningful therapeutic relationships as patients move through their recovery journeys.

Jalpa Sorathiya, earned her degree with distinction from Gujarat University in India in 2018. She has honed her clinical expertise across diverse settings, including private orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation clinics, acute hospital care, and postoperative care environments.

Jalpa is recognized for her proficiency in managing chronic and acute pain and disabilities through a comprehensive approach that integrates manual therapy, bespoke exercise and rehabilitation protocols, myofascial and active release techniques, and innovative alternative therapies such as kinesiotaping, acupuncture, dry needling, and cupping.

Olivia Garay graduated with her Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa in 2016. She has bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from the University of Toronto and in Kinesiology from York University.

Olivia values a holistic approach in developing your treatment plan, taking into account the physical, mental, and emotional contributors to your health. She believes passionately that patient education is the key to long-term success, and will work with you to implement home exercises and self-care strategies which fit with your lifestyle in order to complement the treatments you receive in the clinic.

Tristan is a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of Algonquin College. Prior to pursuing massage therapy, he completed the Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant program, giving him a strong foundation in rehabilitation and movement-based care.

Tristan is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment for every client. He is passionate about helping individuals reduce pain, restore function, and improve overall quality of life. His approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of dysfunction rather than simply managing symptoms.

He has experience working with a wide range of clients—from children to older adults, and from high-level athletes to weekend warriors and those with more sedentary lifestyles.

Tristan incorporates a variety of techniques into his treatments, with a strong emphasis on active, results-driven approaches such as Rapid NeuroFascial Reset (NFR). He has completed extensive training in Rapid NFR, including upper and lower extremity, core, Rapid 4, advanced knee, and TAC (Trauma, ANS, and concussion).

In addition, he utilizes Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, stretching, PNF, and joint mobilizations. He is also certified in cupping, Graston Technique (IASTM), and Fascial Stretch Therapy (Level 1).

Clients can expect a collaborative approach when working with Tristan, including personalized exercise and stretching programs. He strongly believes that combining manual therapy with movement-based rehabilitation leads to the best outcomes. Dr. Kirk Andrew graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors Bachelor of Health Sciences and graduated with honors from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Furthermore, he is also a Medical Acupuncture Certified (through McMaster University), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association).

Dr. Andrew is passionate about continually upgrading his clinical skills in order to provide the most comprehensive and effective care possible for his patients. Since graduating, he has taken numerous courses related to soft-tissue therapy, injury prevention and rehabilitation, exercise science and athletic performance, concussion, headaches, to name just a few.

Ali Haddad is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), who graduated from the International Academy of Applied Health in Ottawa. Ali has a passion for helping and teaching others. He has played various sports, such as soccer, rugby and football. Growing up, Ali had a few injuries of his own, for which he received Massage Therapy and Physiotherapy. He knew from a young age that he wanted to help others recover from injuries, break through physical limitations and achieve higher performance levels.

Ali is a dedicated massage therapist who thrives in helping each patient reduce their pain levels and improve range of motion in order to live more comfortably. He completed his Master of Physiotherapy in 2022 in India and went on to work as a Head Physiotherapist and Clinical Manager. Naman brings over four years of international experience along with 8 months of Canadian experience as a Physiotherapy Resident, working with a wide range of musculoskeletal and post-surgical conditions.

Laura is a passionate massage therapist, healthcare advocate, educator and mentor. She combines extensive education, knowledge of sports massage, Swedish massage, and other complementary techniques, such as advanced joint mobilizations, proprioceptive neuromuscular techniques and fascial release to help encourage and restore proper biomechanics and overall patient function and well-being.
