To book an appointment with a Sports Medicine Physician, Physiatrist or Orthopaedic Surgeon, please visit athletescare and call to book. For appointments covered by WSIB or MVA, please call the clinic directly to book the appointment.

The healthcare team at Athlete’s Care provide quality, patient-centered treatments. We require an Initial Assessment if this is your first time booking with us, if you would like to get a a new injury assessed and treated, or if you have not had an appointment within the past 6+ months.

What to bring to your appointment:

  • Bring shorts if the issue is your knees, back or legs.
  • Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing as specific areas of the body are subject for evaluation and treatment.
  • Bring your referral or doctor’s note, if you have one.
  • If you plan on having insurance cover your treatments, bring your insurance information and we can look into whether direct billing for Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy or Chiropractic care is an option with your insurance provider.
  • Bring a valid OHIP card for appointments with a Sports Medicine Physician, Physiatrist or Orthopaedic Surgeon

Appointment Cancellation Policy:

We require 24 hours notice prior to cancelling or rescheduling your appointment.

Jared graduated from the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto after completing his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University.

Growing up playing multiple sports and competing at the provincial, national, and varsity levels in badminton, he developed a strong appreciation for movement and performance.

With a strong background in exercise prescription and experience as a personal trainer, Jared combines active exercise rehabilitation with manual therapy to help patients achieve their goals. He emphasizes patient education and individualized care to restore function, reduce pain, and build long-term resilience.

Outside of the clinic, Jared stays active by continuing to play badminton, working out at the gym, spending time outdoors with family, and exploring new restaurants around the city.

Annalee Kirk graduated with honours in massage therapy at Elmcrest College of Applied Health Sciences in 2008. Annalee also has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Waterloo in psychology where she was a member of the Women’s Varsity Volleyball team.

Annalee’s massage therapy treatments are aimed to improve your mobility and functionality to a pain free state. General swedish massage techniques, along with other modalities, are performed to reduce muscle tension while increasing circulation and joint movement. In conjunction with massage, Annalee promotes exercises and stretch recommendations that you can do safely in the comfort of your home.

Annalee understands the benefits of alternative therapy and how effective aninterdisciplinary approach can aid in your athletic performance and recovery. As a former athlete, Annalee can relate to how physically and mentally demanding your schedule can be. Choosing massage therapy will help your performance, will reduce the possibility of injuries and is an excellent way to unwind and destress.

Clement graduated from the Masters of Physical Therapy program at University of Toronto and previously obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology at McMaster University. He has a strong passion for injury prevention, reducing pain, and enhancing functional performance which stems from his athletic background competing on the varsity badminton team at McMaster University.

Clement appreciates the value of manual and active therapy, and believes in helping his clients understand their injury so they can take an active role in restoring their mobility and function. He utilizes a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrical modalities, and education to help clients achieve their goals.

Clement is dedicated to being a life-long learner and is committed to advance his physiotherapy skills. He has completed courses in Level 1 Manual Therapy and Soft Tissue Release, and has also completed the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program.

When Clement is not working, he spends his free time outdoors, in the gym, or playing badminton, softball, or volleyball.
